The white wine Edition Hanse Lounge Riesling trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Comes almost exclusively from the Ruppertsberg site Gaisböhl. The wine remained on the lees for one and a half years. Still yeasty on the nose, with some flinty mineral and Early Grey tea notes. On the palate there is phenolic-rich texture and an intense juiciness, backed by fine-bodied, well-integrated acidity. Has two sides: a concentrated, disciplined fullness; along with creaminess, breadth and generosity - all mineral-based.
