The sweet and dessert wine Rauenthal Baiken Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Dr. Corvers-Kauter has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The aroma reveals dates, meat juices, coarsely ground coffee and dried pears. On the palate very creamy, viscous and almost oily. Juicy acidity, razor-sharp on the palate, salty notes, ends oily again and almost with quite a grip at the end. Still has a long way to go.
