The sweet and dessert wine Wiltinger braune Kupp Beerenauslese, vintage 2001 from the winery Weingut Egon Müller-Scharzhof has been rated in 2007 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Pale golden yellow. Fine hints of botrytis on the nose, a delicate hint of dried fruit and dried apricots. Wonderful play of acidity on the palate, incredibly youthful, vibrant, dances on the palate, very delicate wine. A wine with wonderful balance, more finesse than the ice wines, less sweet than a Trockenbeerenauslese.
