Tasting Notes
A highlight: Medium yellow-green. Initially rather restrained notes of mandarins and limes on the nose, with air a wonderful piquancy develops, smoky minerality, floral aromas, finally coconut. Fresh on the palate, fine lemony nuances, shows immense race, great, vital length. This is a wine of immense freshness and huge potential, less fat than the 76 thanks to its sheer race, in a word: a real reference wine for the Scharzhofberger Riesling from Müller.
More about the tastingApricot coloured with beautiful ageing tones. On the nose, aromas of fine ripe fruit, pastry, with a beautiful fullness and concentration, orange tea, pleasantly spicy, very fine and delicate. The palate is dense and concentrated, this compact and playful Riesling is extremely elegant and balanced. Wonderful acid bite, persistently stimulating and fresh. Already showing less sweetness, but impresses with its firm structure with dried fruits redolent of apple and apricot on the finish. Great. No need to wait any longer: drink it now!.
