Tasting Notes
Pale greenish yellow. Fine notes of grapefruit and mandarin zest on the nose, hints of elderflower. White peach on the palate, delicate lychee touch, somewhat rough texture, lemony notes, will probably develop very slowly, very good potential. The motto here is: please wait!
More about the tastingPale yellow, even white. Closed, initially somewhat waxy, then becoming clearer: smoky, cool slate tones, very stony. Almost dry on the palate, with very firm, pleasantly biting acidity, mineral freshness, good concentration and firm fruit. Compact structure. Classic Saar Riesling, austere, not very playful, somewhat astringent, but with a future. Very subtle honey note in the racy finish.
