Tasting Notes
Deep golden yellow, intense grapefruit zest on the nose, nuts, dried fruit aromas, dates, enormously full-bodied on the palate, huge acid structure, clear botrytis, dark spice, a breathtaking acidity curve, wonderful length, of course still far too young, lingers on the palate for minutes. Definitely in an embryonic stage, patience will definitely pay off here. An ice wine style that tends much more in a TBA direction due to the noble rot content, which is very much in line with the winery's stylistic goal. A true Riesling wonder thanks to its incredible complexity.
More about the tastingDried oranges and apricots, subtly honeyed, very concentrated, and precise. Pure, brilliant fruit (apricots), great concentration, again impressively clear and pure, with electrifying, lively acidity.
