Tasting Notes
Bright yellow gold, brightening at the rim, incredibly fine notes of freshly torn lime peel on the nose, some mandarins, white berry coulis, rich in finesse, underlaid with a little coconut, no varnish, a vibrant acid structure on the palate, conveying incredible youth, a wine with great race, which has already almost completely consumed its residual sugar, already appears dry on the finish, the delicate sweetness of ripe tropical fruit on the finish, still an absolute delight after 57 years.
More about the tastingBrass to gold in color. Very restrained, somewhat overcast, grapey nose reminiscent of apple juice. Apple juice, grapey, slightly oxidative impact, car repair shop (rubber, oil, grease, kerosene). Lean, lively, even annoying acidity, amazingly full-bodied and powerful, excellent length, somewhat more rustic, more powerful than all its predecessors. Seems practically dry, has bite and character. An astonishing, young-looking wine.
