The red wine »Altor« trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2019 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenère, Cabernet Franc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Unfiltered, dark garnet red colour in the glass, elegant nose, wild spices, lemon zest, plums, as well as freshness, almost incense. Very juicy on the palate, young hay, blackberries, elderberries, delicately salty with liquorice at the edges of the tongue, very young, needs aeration!
