Tasting Notes
Autumnal nebbiolo colour, although the "Altor" is 75 percent Sangiovese. Overripe red berry fruit, some undergrowth and lots of peppery savouriness on the nose. Overripe fruit also dominates the palate: plums soaked in alcohol and a vivid tannin structure. A child of its vintage, when the Pfalz was more in Apulia.
