The rosé »Emilio Rosé Reserve«, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Petit Verdot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Pastel colour with a slight orange shimmer. The nose reveals a slight woodiness, supported by yeasty and slightly balsamic tones. The palate has grip and tension, a subtle layer of phenolics, the powerful alcohol and acidity are well integrated, the wine finishes stout with good freshness and a hint of ageing potential.
