The red wine »Cultor« trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Carmenère, Petit Verdot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Smoky aroma. This is followed by red and black forest berries, paprika, a floral note and a fine roasted aroma from the barrel ageing. Good juiciness on the palate with still young-looking tannins and fine acidity. An attractively blended wine with a beautiful drinking flow.
