The white wine »Alte Reben« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Eppelmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A delicate reduction releases aromas of tangerine, macadamia nut and steamed corn kernels on contact with air. The palate begins to be supple and becomes increasingly salty as it progresses; the acidity provides support and elegance despite a rather ripe structure. A great food wine!
