Strong roasted aromas on the nose, wood spice and coffee notes, the nose is still characterised by ageing in small wooden barrels. Lots of substance and spice on the palate, noticeable wood tannin and a firm structure, fine acidity and spice. Goes well by the fireplace and at the table.
