The red wine »Réserve« Bechtolsheim Petersberg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Ernst Bretz has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Strong roasted aromas on the nose, wood spice and coffee notes, the nose is still characterised by ageing in small wooden barrels. Lots of substance and spice on the palate, noticeable wood tannin and a firm structure, fine acidity and spice. Goes well by the fireplace and at the table.
