The red wine »Goldréserve« Merlot trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Escher has been rated in 2017 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Balsamic wood, plum, wild plum, cranberry. Creamy palate, very flattering, crumbly tannin, has a lot of juice and does not appear clumsy despite the rather plump structure. Fresh finish with slightly more present tannins. Not a boring Merlot.
