The red wine Goldréserve Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Escher has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Attractive and inviting nose, fresh notes of cherry interwoven with spicy wood. In the mouth plenty of fruit, clear fruit and generous tannins, and with good drive and pronounced acidity. It shows length and density and has a fine note of sour cherry on the finish. It is an ambitiously vinified pinot noir.
