The red wine »Meisterwerk« trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Escher has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
New wood, bright and intense fruit: elderberry and black cherry, reine claude plums, beechnuts, Pruneaux d'Agen, blueberry. Supple on the palate, with ripe, grainy yet round tannins, a ripe acidity, juicy, with a powerful, still youthfully yet undeveloped finish.
