The sweet and dessert wine »Goldkapsel« Saarburg Rausch Riesling Auslese (Versteigerung), vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Raisin and dried fruit on the nose, currently still somewhat closed. On the palate, the wine is still, deep and dense, with good viscosity and a juicy, elegant structure. Finely spicy finish with a slight slate spice.
