The sweet and dessert wine »#2« Saarburg Rausch Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken has been rated in 2019 with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Cider and perry on the nose, fir resin, orange confit, peppery, dusty, and slate. On the palate the purest delicacy, weightless, extremely cultivated acidity, quite delicate, dense, viscous without becoming thick, and minerally interwoven. It is breathtakingly fine.
