The white wine »Kalkmergel« Schweigen-Rechtenbach Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Becker has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Pale copper in colour. Powerful yet elegant on the nose: spice, pear skin, smoke, bright red fruit aromas and yellow apple. On the palate some light phenolics mix with the precise fruit, with fine supporting acidity. Crisp and gluggable in a very attractive finish.
