The red wine Quattro, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Gager has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Merlot from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Delicate nougat, blackberry confit and liquorice, subtle herbal savouriness, inviting bouquet. Complex, taut, ripe cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, fresh on the finish, mineral aftertaste, will benefit from bottle ageing.
