The sweet and dessert wine »Charly’s Likörwein«, vintage 2007 from the winery Weingut Rebholz has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Cabernet Mitos from the region Baden in Germany.
Coloured like a tawny port. The aroma has notes of toffee and dried orange peel, walnut and a fine, nuanced oxidation. There's a creamy sweetness and taut acidity on the palate, where the alcohol is well integrated. A unique pleasure - with a cigar, for example.
