Tasting Notes
Slightly smoky aroma, yeast, also new wood. On the palate, the wine has a concise density, is incredibly concentrated and gripping, mineral and full-bodied. This is made for the long haul and has nothing whatsoever to do with brash Grauburgunder clichés.
More about the tastingBrilliant golden yellow in the glass. Varietal aroma, red apple, peach, ground hazelnut, herbal savouriness, smoke. On the palate fresh, juicy, ripe fruit, creamy core, lively acidity with traction, fine phenolics, medium-bodied, nice length. A wine that gives pleasure now and certainly will in a few years.
