The red wine »essential« Bermersheimer Klosterberg trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Hauck has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, powerful aroma of cassis, wood spice, toasted notes, forest floor and leaves. Well balanced on the palate, good extract, fine fruit sweetness, ripe and vivid acid vein, distinctive tannins, still slightly astringent. Good potential.
