The white wine »Gottfried« Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Haus im Turm has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
Dense herbal nose of thyme and liquorice, oregano and wood sorrel. Cool and smoky on the palate, with a flavour of lime zest and pebbles, as well as a slightly salty note. The pairing of delicate spiciness with elegant acidity is skilfully worked out. A great food wine!
