The white wine »Löss« Grauer Burgunder Landwein trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Höfflin has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Yeasty notes give way relatively quickly to ripe Pinot Gris fruit: Turkish honey, melon. Powerful, silky on the palate, neither massive nor broad, still with late harvest drive, finely chiselled and without striking sweetness.
