The red wine Ingelheim Pares Spätburgunder GG, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut J. Neus has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
There is noticeable new oak on the nose, as well as plenty of smoke and yeast, and some cherry, although with few primary aromas. On the palate there is good tension and a seamlessly woven acidity, with notes of sour cherry also contributing to the freshness. It is permeated with some minerality, and has fine-grained tannins. It is a good investment and has ageing potential.
