Tasting Notes
Deepest ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle watery rim. Attractive dark berry confit, sweet spice and fine noble wood notes, in the background delicate notes of liquorice and tobacco, very multilayered bouquet. Substantial, very complex and elegant, fine, supporting tannins, ripe black cherries and subtle nougat on the finish, multi-faceted top wine, has reached a first drinking peak.
More about the tastingDark ruby-garnet color, almost opaque at the center, with violet highlights. Blackberry jam underpinned by subtle herbal notes, a hint of licorice and cassis, orange zest, and hints of fine wood. Full-bodied, sweet heart cherry fruit, elegant texture, very well-integrated tannins, delicate style, subtle nougat, black wild berries on the finish; already enjoyable to drink, with solid aging potential.
