The sweet and dessert wine Wehlen Sonnenuhr Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 1976 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Moselle in Germany.
Immensely complex bouquet of a fully ripe botrytis wine, hints of prune, sweet fig and dark nougat, a real Riesling concentrate. On the palate a fine oxidation note reminiscent of great Tokaj, a great, powerfully developed wine, dark nuances on the finish, has enormous length and potential for generations.
