Tasting Notes
Lime blossom, Fuder barrel, red apple, finest botrytis. On the palate, substance and sweetness wrestle for supremacy, concise acidity, lots of juice and just enough texture to avoid the inherent tension coming across as dry. Nevertheless, a prime example of how long maturation seems to magically reduce the perception of sweetness and lets the wine come across as much drier than it is.
More about the tastingMedium yellow green. Delicate herbal savouriness, clear stone fruit nuances, a hint of orange zest, mineral touch. Complex, incredibly youthful, fine white fruit, full of finesse and racy, a brilliant, seductive Riesling style, appears much younger than it actually is.
