The white wine Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese Goldkapsel, vintage 2001 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Medium yellow green colour with golden reflections. The nose has a clear aroma of green orange zest, ethereal and minty notes, intense slate savouriness, very attractive. Fine caramel notes on the palate, velvety texture, underpinned by fresh acidity, sweet tropical fruits, delicate coconut flavour, far too young, sinfully seductive, simply has to be laid down, because in many years it will still be full of freshness, but with less sweetness and will be a great pleasure to drink.
