Tasting Notes
Ethereal lemon, smoke, lemon balm and yeasty pastry on the nose announce both Riesling and bottle age. Freshness, however, is never lost in this Sekt. Lightness and depth accentuate each other whilst a fine foam beguiles. Textbook crisp acidity invigorates. An elixir from the Pfalz.
More about the tastingYeasty and cereal scented notes, with some peach, gooseberry, and a fresh mousse. Juicy acidity, straightforward structure, slender with bite, and a suitable (discreet) dosage. It is a Riesling sparkling wine with a lot of traction and vinosity, and a very good fruit dosage.
