The red wine Ingelheim Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Knewitz has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose this has real distinction. There are aromas of wild cherry, as well as a subtle oak character, a completely Burgundian touch. It has a juicy elegance on the palate, supported by very fresh and fine-grained tannins, with an intense minerality, and a layer of creaminess remaining in the background.
