The white wine »1G« Appenheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Knewitz has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Some reduction, but also a whole box of spices ranging from cardamom and lavender to coriander, caraway, lemon balm and black pepper. The palate is smoothly grounded and filled with dry phenolics, dense without being over-concentrated.
