It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Lemon yellow in colour with light green reflections. On the nose: tangerine, Mirabelle plum and smoky flint notes. The palate develops a somewhat brisk mousse, the wine has a rather restrained acidity, gets by with a very low dosage (2.9 grams) and finishes with terpene-driven extract. Definitely not an easy-drinking sparkling wine, but one that is clearly characterised by its terroir, intended for food pairing and for ageing.
