The white wine Cuvée weiß Selection Hillinger, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Leo Hillinger has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Clear, very fresh aroma with notes of elderflower, citrus and subtle tropical fruit, also vegetal hints. Slender on the palate with a slightly sweetish but fitting texture. Finishes medium-long with notes of green apple and subtle astringency.
More about the tastingAromas of pear and grated apple, with light flowers and a fine spiciness. Opens in the mouth with juice and spice, again notes of pear, creamy notes, some smoke and vanilla, the acidity is rather mild, a patented food wine.
