The red wine »Handschrift« trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Lergenmüller has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Well-matured notes of Cabernet, Piedmont cherry and savoury accents of Tempranillo in the appealing bouquet. Beautifully savoury on the palate, with a full but clearly contoured body and fine tannins, has power and elegance, still very vivid.

More about the tastingCassis, elderberry pulp, present wood, coconut, cinnamon. Fiery palate: lots of volume, but also lots of extract. A high dose of crumbly, grainy tannin, ripe acidity, lots of juice in the background, still closed in the aromas, full of potential.
