The red wine Syrah trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Sturm has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
Spicy aromas alongside herbal sweets, yeast and a touch of milk chocolate - an interesting nose. In the mouth the wine shows a lot of juiciness with fine-grained tannins which are mature but middling in quantity. The wine does not necessarily have depth, but definitely drive and elegance.
