Tasting Notes
Caraway and crab apple on the nose, also yeasty and burnt undertones. The palate spans an astonishingly wide range, the Auslese is evident in the texture, but the wine has plenty of substance and a firm acid core, the varietal flavours are (currently?) rather restrained. And there is a strong tactile minerality on the finish!
More about the tastingAroma of ripe peach and apricot, white flowers, some rosewood, a little candied orange peel, Charentais melon. On the palate a rather restrained acidity, again peach and apricot, grippy, remains fresh, medium structure and length.
