Tasting Notes
Ripe mango, a hint of oak and flint notes on the nose. Broad on the palate, balanced, a little more clearly oaked than on the nose, but the wine has enough muscle and structure to put that away - and above all enough tactile minerality to retain tension. Lots of power. An individual interpretation of the Stein, but ultimately first and foremost a very high-quality expression of the vineyard.
More about the tastingRich late harvest fruit on the nose: exotic fruit, banana and yellow fruit. Very full-bodied on the palate, balanced and homogeneous, light herbal spice, good length. A very good food wine, for example with saffron risotto.
