The red wine »Tal« Portugieser trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Rinck has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Nuances of cassis, raspberry and cherry, fine smoke and subtle wood savouriness, also pepper and cloves. Beautifully spicy and decidedly dry on the palate, intense, clearly contoured structure, fine vein of acidity, grippy, still youthful tannins, peppery finish.
