It has a dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a subtle bright ochre rim. There are aroma nuances of fig and prune, with some nougat, and lovely fine oak spiciness, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, complex, with black wild berry and cherry flavours, ripe tannins, and a chocolate touch on the finish. It is already gluggable, and it has good ageing potential.
