The orange wine Kveri Silvaner, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Rothe has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Yeasty, savoury, spring meadow, milk, apple. Fine silky phenolics, ripe and dry like a silk scarf, smooth background, mint and chamomile on the finish, and some lime blossom. It has a wonderful all-natural freshness, and is full of finesse.
