The white wine »Ungezähmt«, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Rummel has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grauburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Classic fragrant aromas of red apple, pear, yellow plum, apricot and a herbal savouriness with hints of tarragon and savory. Untamed on the palate, with a lively acidity, grippy with a concise phenolic character which makes the residual sweetness barely perceptible. A stimulating style, full of innovation and ambition.
