The red wine Kirchberg Spätburgunder GG, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Salwey has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Closed on the nose, with cherry pit, amarena cherry, and damp stone. Perfect wood management. On the palate, it is dense and very homogeneous. A long plateau phase closely connects extract, body, and sweetness. It has mild acidity and is intensely mineral. In all components, is very fine and elegant but has enormous extract in the background.
