The white wine Oberrotweil Eichberg, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Salwey has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A hint of gold to the colour. Tuffy, "electric" aromas, then also candied orange peel and plum. The palate is plump with fine phenolics, the enigmatic texture hints at the volume of a Rulander, but with the concentration of a Pinot Noir. Paradoxical and big.
