The rosé wine »Der Rosa Schuh« Rotling Schieler, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Schuh has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Rotling, Schieler from the region Saxony in Germany.
Delicate salmon pink in colour. The nose shows the effects of cold fermentation with an intense ice-candy aroma, but there is also berry fruit: flint strawberry, raspberry. The palate has a drinkable character, a slightly tangy lightness, with sweetness that predominates a little, although the acidity is also vivid. The finish picks up on the fruity aromas of the nose.
