Tasting from 17.02.2022: Ulrich Sautter

The nose develops an aroma of cloves, fine herbs, dark berries and sour cherry. Juicy fruit, young tannins and attractive acidity follow on the palate, which balances the body and the motifs of ageing well. Attractive finish with aromas of dried raspberry and dried blackberry. A single-vineyard type with mellowness and fullness, discreetly influenced by wood.

More about the tasting

A dark berry, "warm" spiciness on the nose, with cassis, mineral tones, and after contact with air, notes of milk chocolate, herbs and block malt candy are revealed. On the palate, the wine is silky and supple with a powerful body and lively acidity that concentrates somewhat on the finish. A single-vineyard wine with mellowness and richness, discreetly influenced by wood.
