The red wine »Unglaublich« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Ungerer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Acolon, Dornfelder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Herbal, spice notes meet fresh cassis fruit. There is also a hint of caramel from the new wood. A dry tannin dominates in the mouth, the background of suppleness and light sweetness binds the tannin well, lively acidity underlines the fruit.
More about the tastingDeep and multi-layered nose with notes of plum and blackcurrant, also cherry and smoky notes. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate with good balance, lots of savouriness, medium, fruity with supple tannins and ripe acidity.
