The white wine Tiglat CH, vintage 2008 from the winery Weingut Velich has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Medium green-yellow in colour. Ripe yellow stone fruit notes with undertones of fine roasted aromas, subtle smoky minerality, needs some air to open up, candied orange zest. Juicy, elegant texture, fine tropical fruit, well-integrated wood spice, ripe apple note on the finish, mineral touch on the aftertaste, already well developed, a multi-faceted food wine with a salty finish, good ageing potential.
