The white wine »SZ« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Zähringer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, still characterized by the wood maturation, with some coconut and smoke, pear and apple in the background, as well as vanilla. This is a powerful and firmly structured Chardonnay with good density and pronounced, well-integrated acidity. More international than Baden, but certainly good.
